Club Sports Report 4/21/17
Bowling
The Oberlin Intercollegiate Bowling Team has completed their tournament season, but continues to work hard for next year. The Thunder has many returning members who continue to improve.
Dressage
The Oberlin Dressage Team had another busy week of lessons! The team even had a fun visitor, Julia Crainic'23(?) come ride with Jen Crainic'20 and the team on both Thursday and Saturday! Additionally, the team is enjoying the warm weather and hopes to continue to be able to use the outdoor ring!
Soccer
The Squirrels are traveling to Akron for a round robin tournament this weekend. Details to follow!
Tennis
This past weekend, OShots Club Tennis hosted our very first all-Oberlin tennis tournament! We had a good showing of people and played indoors due to rain. Every person played to five in doubles and double partners moved up or down in rankings to determine the final singles players. The winner of the tournament was Eli Roane! We hope to do this again next year.
Men's Ultimate
The Horsecows are traveling to Pennsylvania for Regionals next weekend. Details to follow!
Women's Ultimate
This weekend the Manti went to Sectionals in Columbus and A team won every game with some smart playing and fast snatches, and placed first! B team also crushed it all weekend, and we got to play each other in an ultimate showdown. The A team will be headed to Regionals in 2 weeks, and then hopefully to Nationals! Go Manti!!!!!
