Team Updates
Bowling
The Oberlin Intercollegiate Bowling team has spent the past week preparing intensively for its next tournament. The annual Oberlin Unconventional will take place at College Lanes on April 8th and will include teams from Kent State, LCCC, and our own women and men teams.
Dressage
The dressage team had a phenomenal weekend to close their show season. On Saturday, Jen Crainic was the reserve high point rider with a score of 74.375%. Additionally, Phoebe Downer and Jen Crainic won their equitation classes, Erika Remy came in 2nd, and Andy Larson and Tess Jewell both came in 4th. We are so proud of Phoebe, our graduating senior, for her impecable ride. We would also like to thank our captain, Tess, for everything she puts into our team and for her mother-like role on our team. Congratulations on being 5th in the region and for an incredible season!!
Equestrian
Equestrian - Although the competitive season may be over, the Equestrian Team is still busy practicing! The team will focus on establishing stronger
connections with the lesson horses while also working on their position.
Golf
Oberlin's Club Golf team participated in its first tournament this past weekend. The players had a great time competing at the Boulder Creek golf course in Streetsboro, Ohio. The team is looking forward to playing in another tournament this fall. Also, the weather is starting to warm up, so the club will be going out every weekend to the Forest Hills golf course.
Women and Trans Rugby
The Rhinos (women and trans rugby team) went to a tournament at Findlay and placed 6th, meaning they qualified for the league championship where the top league teams compete to go to nationals.
