Club Sports Report: April 10, 2017
Bowling
The Thunder hosted the annual Oberlin Unconventional Tournament. Our all womens team beat the men in the first game, powered by Maggie Gossiaux's 213 and Sarah Hampton's 195. Our teams fell short of victory but continue to show great improvement.
Dressage
The Oberlin Dressage Team took a break from dressage and jumped during their lessons this week. Phoebe Downer has not jumped in a while and enjoyed the change of pace. Erika Remy also enjoyed jumping Stan Stan the Country Man, a small pony. Jen Crainic and Andy Larson also had a fun lesson and even jumped an oxer!
Quidditch
This past weekend the Oberlin Obliviators traveled to the University of Dayton to compete in a tournament. We played in three matches and lost, but we played hard, had a great time, and we are proud of our sportsmanship! We also successfully caught the snitch in our most difficult match, thanks to first-year Haley Gee!
Tennis
Oshots, Club Tennis, is hard at work practicing for our upcoming all-Oberlin tennis tournament next Saturday, April 15th from 12pm to 6 pm. This event is open to any Oberlin affiliates, including community members and professors! Come if you can! Prizes included and no entry fee! Please RSVP to

Women's Ultimate
The Manti are on a role! Last weekend the A team went to Columbus to compete at Case Western's CWRUL Memorial Tournament and places 5th out of 25, holding seed! Still hoping for a bid to nationals this year, we will be going (A and B) to sectionals in Columbus this weekend. Here's to good weather and lots of ultimate! Go Manti!
