It's the time of year to start making your plans for Oberlin College's Commencement / Reunion Weekend, May 23-27, 2019. We would like to invite you to attend any of the annual events sponsored by the John W. Heisman Club. These activities are outstanding opportunities to celebrate the rich tradition of Oberlin athletics, to reminisce with former teammates and to meet current coaches and student- athletes. Our goal remains that members of the Heisman Club continue to play an integral role in assisting Oberlin College's efforts to create an athletics department of which we can all be proud.
The Oberlin athletics annual senior student-athlete reception will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, in the Austin E. Knowlton Athletics Complex social space. Played at the Oberlin Golf Club in an 18-hole team scramble format, this golf outing is open to anyone who is interested in hitting the links! Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. A light lunch along with an awards presentation will follow the round of golf. Please bring your own clubs and remember that the Club's dress code prohibits blue jeans, tank tops, and t-shirts; shorts must be mid-thigh. Shoes must be non-metal spikes or rubber-soled.
The cost is $125 per person or $400 per foursome. You may also purchase a hole sponsorship for $500. Contact Creg Jantz at 440-775-6401 or

Join us for a Friday nightcap in the Knowlton Social Space, inside the football stadium. Sit back and celebrate the special weekend ahead with senior parents, athletics staff, and alumni courtesy of the Heisman Club Board from 6 to 9 p.m.
The annual Heisman Club Hall of Honor ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 25, in the Philips Physical Education Building lobby from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. The event will include appetizers and drinks. There is no charge, but you must register no later than May 21 by contacting Creg Jantz at 440-775-6401 or
cjantz@oberlin.edu. The Hall of Honor was created as a means to recognize those individuals who have helped advance the goals of the athletics and physical education department in the areas of varsity and recreational sports and health & wellness, regardless of their personal athletics achievements. The Heisman Club Hall of Honor allows the College another avenue by which to perpetuate the memory of those persons who have brought distinction, honor, and excellence to Oberlin College Athletics.
