Greetings!

It is hard to believe, but the 2008-09 school year has come to a close.  There have been a lot of exciting moments this year in Oberlin College Athletics and Recreation.  On the varsity side, we have seen a conference championship, All-Americans and multiple all conference qualifiers.  We have also seen major renovations and construction of athletic facilities.  The new Cross Country/Community Trail and Kahn Track & Shults Field officially opened this past fall and in April we had the ribbon cutting of the new LEED Gold rated Williams Field House.  We are very proud of these new facilities and believe they are proof that Oberlin College Athletics is moving in the right direction.  This summer we will see more renovations.  The Carr Pool will be closed all summer (Memorial Day through August 16th) for major repair.  The extent of the repairs are still being determined, but in the fall our pool should once again be operating at its peak. 

I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer.  If you find yourself roaming the halls of Philips, please stop in to room 214 and say hello.
