Oberlin, Ohio – Fresh off a record setting, 48-9, homecoming win over Allegheny College, the Oberlin College football team will look to carry the momentum over to this Saturday's showdown as No. 8/10 Wabash College comes to town.

Live Audio Series Information …Oberlin trails in the all-time series, 2-16-1 … The two Yeomen wins came in 1945 and in 2012 … In the 31-16 victory three seasons ago, the Little Giants were also ranked 10

Scouting the Little Giants … Wabash, which ranks No. 8 in the D3football.com Top Poll and No. 10 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Poll, presents the toughest test of the season for the Yeomen … The nation's leading rushing defense, the Little Giants allow just six yards per game on the ground … They also check in third in the country in scoring defense, giving up 4.3 points per game after surrendering only 17 all season … In total defense the Little Giants are second in the NCAA as they give up just 142.5 yards per game … Running back Mason Zurek leads the NCAC with 117 yards rushing per game.
Poggiali Praise … Lucas Poggiali rewrote the record the record book in last Saturday's win over Allegheny, completing 27-of-38 passes for a school-record 506 yards in the win … He was named NCAC and USA Football Player of the Week while also earning D3football.com Team of the Week honors for his efforts … Poggiali threw for four scores and now has 10 TDs on the season … After throwing for 213 yards and two touchdowns through the first three games, he has been a different player over the last two weeks, throwing for 848 yards and eight touchdowns.
Run Robby Run … Freshman receiver
Robby Reinheimer has emerged into an elite threat over the last two games as he has racked up 358 yards and three touchdowns on 14 catches … He busted onto the scene with a six-catch 130-yard performance against Ohio Wesleyan and then followed that performance by posting the third-best game in Yeomen history, snagging eight catches for 228 yards … He also has big-play ability with long catches of 48 and 70 yards over the last two weeks … Reinheimer enters Saturday's game ranked fifth in the NCAC with an average of 95.8 yards per game.
Clemons Is Creating … Jabari Clemons has been a jack-of-all-trades over the last two weeks, averaging 157 all-purpose yards … He has rushed 49 yards, has totaled 126 yards in returns and has caught 12 balls for 139 yards and three touchdowns … Had he played in enough games to qualify, Clemons would be leading the NCAC in all-purpose yards per game.
Allen Attack … Sophomore
Anthony Allen has been making noise along the Yeomen defensive live the past two weeks … The Redford, Michigan, native, has totaled nine tackles and three sacks while forcing a fumble and scooping up two more in the last two games … On the season he has 24 tackles and three sacks.
Heading to the House … Oberlin ranks third in the NCAC in touchdowns scored this season, finding paydirt 18 times through the first five weeks … The Yeomen also lead the NCAC in two-point conversions with eight, while the only other team to convert one this season is Kenyon with three … The Tigers of DePauw lead the conference with 25 TDs, while Wabash is second with 23.
Keeping Clean … The Yeomen offensive line, which played a large role in the Yeomen's 690-yard performance against Allegheny, has also done a good job in keeping the Yeomen quarterbacks clean this season … The Yeomen have allowed just nine sacks through the first five games, which ranks fourth in the NCAC.
What a Win it Would be … The Yeomen moved to 2-3 on the season, marking the first time Oberlin has been 2-3 after five games since 2011 … However, a win this Saturday would put the Yeomen at 3-3 for the first time since 2007 when they finished 5-5 … A win would also mark the second victory over the national power in the last four years and be just third victory over the Little Giants in the all-time series … The Yeomen would also move to 3-1 at home on the season.
