Track and Field Finishes Day one of Findlay Invite

Findlay, Ohio- The Oberlin College track and field team wrapped up day one of the Findlay Invite on Friday night. The first day was mostly field events and the men's heptathlon.
 
The men were led by Daniel Tadros who finished highest for Oberlin in the heptatholon on day one. He finished with a final score of 2262 on the day. Sean Dembowski finished right Tadros with a total of 2018 points. Both are on pace to break the existing school record. Matt Bernstein ran a personal best race in the 5k with a final time of 15:53.64.
 
Tiffany Henry is close to the school record in the weight throw, and if she continues to improve she will break it. Today she threw the weight 38-11.00.
 
The teams are back in action tomorrow as they finish up the invite. The competitions are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. in Findlay.
