Toledo, Ohio – On Friday evening, three Oberlin College track and field athletes competed at the University of Toledo's Tune-up meet in effort to increase their season-best marks.

Unfortunately, Lorain, Ohio native Shawn Chrapczynski was the only person to do so as he stopped the clock at 22.42 in the 200-meter dash to finish third overall while shaving off seven one-hundredths of a second off of his time of 22.49 that he posted at last week's NCAC Championships.

Also competing at the meet for Oberlin was senior Seth Wimberly who placed second in the 400 meters at 49.56, but the timestamp was a little shy of his conference performance of 49.41.

First-year Marissa Clardy checked in fifth in the 400 meters at 59.12, but was well off her conference-winning time of 57.66.

The Oberlin harriers will have a final chance to improve upon their marks at next weekend's Allegheny Invite.
