Conference Release

Westlake, Ohio –
Sophomore Dylan Holmes was named as the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Sportsman of the Year, while first-years Thomas Hake and Eli Clark-Davis garnered All-NCAC Honorable-Mention honors, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Holmes turned in a sensational season as he led the team with 30 goals – 11 of which came on man-up opportunities. The Seattle, Washington, native also added seven assists to finish second on the squad with 37 points.

Hake, who was arguably the best rookie in the North Coast this spring, paced the Yeomen with 42 points as he checked in with 28 scores to go along with 14 helpers.

Clark-Davis emerged on the scene halfway through the season and quickly became one of the top face-off specialists in the conference. The Madison, Wisconsin, native won 81-of-153 chances in the circle for a 52.9-percent success rate.

Strong senior leadership from Rob Bond coupled with a young core of talent and promising recruiting class has the Yeomen looking strong as they head into 2011.
