Ariel Lewis' First-Team All-NCAC selection highlights a trio of Oberlin College women's tennis players recognized by the North Coast Athletic Conference.
Lewis earned her second straight First-Team honor compiling a 21-7 overall record competing in the top spot for the Yeowomen. A season ago she was named Player and Newcomer of the Year by the conference coaches.

Finley Gates received First-Team All-NCAC for their efforts this season finishing 15-11.

Preeya Shah were each awarded Honorable-Mention recognition for their singles success. Gates finished the 2010 season with a 9-10 record hitting mainly as OC's No. 2. Shah, a native of Hurricane, W.V., was a staple in the middle of the lineup contributing at positions 2, 3 and 4, earning an impressing 13-14 record in her first season.
The NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Committee selected Lewis as an alternate from the Central Region for the 2010 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships hosted by the University of Mary Washington, May 28-30, in Fredericksburg, Va.
Lewis, 7th in the latest Campbell/ITA Central Region's ranking, competed in the 2009 NCAA tournament and will await notification of her inclusion in the 2010 Championships.
