No. 10 Denison Pushes Past Yeomen

– Denison University scored the first nine goals of the game and never looked back as it defeated the Oberlin College men's lacrosse team 19-4 on Wednesday evening in Granville, Ohio.

Connor Jackson would net Oberlin's first goal just before the break with an assist coming from Thomas Hake. Rob Bond, Dylan Holmes and Erik Strand each added a goal for the Yeomen.

Strand and Eli Clark Davis combined to win 13 of the game's 26 face-offs.

Oberlin (2-5, 0-1 NCAC) was out-shot 58-19 and lost the groundball battle 44-32. However, the Yeomen did cash in 2-of-4 man-up opportunities.

The Yeomen return to action on Saturday afternoon when they play host to Wittenberg for a 1 p.m. clash.
