Oberlin, Ohio – In effort to makeup lost games from early season rainouts, the Oberlin College baseball team has added a home doubleheader for Saturday, April 10 against NCAC West member Wittenberg. First pitch of game one will be at 1 p.m. from Dill Field.
“It is not often that members of the NCAC East will crossover and play games against schools on the other side of the league so this will gives us a chance to see some different competition,” Head Coach
Eric Lahetta said.
The Yeomen are coming off an impressive series win over Kenyon College as they took three of four from the Lords to improve to 14-6 overall and 7-1 in the NCAC East.
Oberlin has a busy week ahead with a non-conference doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday at 5 p.m. against Bluffton. Those games will be played at the Pipeyard in nearby Lorain, Ohio. OC will then head south on Thursday for another cross-divisional match-up with a single nine-inning game at Denison before taking on the Tigers on Saturday.
