LaGrange, Ga.
– The Oberlin College women's lacrosse team scored early and often as they cruised to a 13-4 win over LaGrange College on Sunday afternoon.

First-year Grace Amber continues to impress as she led way with four scores and one assist while also scooping up five groundballs.

Oberlin (2-2), which held a 10-1 lead at the break, had seven different players find the back of the cage at least once. Joining Bloom with multiple goals were sophomore Alice Zicht, and rookies Ilyssa Meyer and Molly Bloom as they each cashed in a pair of goals in the win.

“This was another nice win for us,” Head Coach Deb Ranieri said. “We played a very smart team game and everybody did their part to contribute to this victory.”

Sophomore Lori Sako, who scored a goal in the game, matched Bloom with six groundballs to pace the Oberlin effort.

First-year netminder Madeleine O'Meara made 11 saves and had five groundballs on the day.

The Yeowomen are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday evening at Agnes Scott College. The opening draw is set for 5 p.m.
