Westlake, Ohio – Oberlin College junior Ben Puterbaugh was named as the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.

Puterbaugh, a native of Canton, Ohio, is off to a blazing start as he went 12-for-20 with eight RBI's and seven runs scored to help the Yeomen earn one of their best starts in school history at 4-1.

Highlighting Puterbaugh's efforts was a 3-for-4 four-RBI performance in a 10-9 win over Hiram.

He and the rest of the Yeomen will play host to Notre Dame College on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Fans that cannot make it out to Dill Field to watch the game can following along via live statistics.
