Westlake, Ohio – Oberlin College seniors
Madeline Schultz and
Clara Shaw were honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Monday evening.
Schultz, a native of Concord, Massachusetts, won the first-ever NCAC Pentathlon with 2,920 points to earn NCAC Field Athlete of the Week honors.
Shaw, a native of Roseville, Minnesota, garnered NCAC Distance Runner of the Week accolades for winning the 800 meters in 2:16.95 at the Denison University Last Chance Meet this past Friday.
This is the second time this season that both Shaw and Schultz have earned weekly recognition from the conference office.
Both Shaw and Schultz will be key factors for the Yeowomen as they try to repeat as conference championships this upcoming weekend.
