Scottsdale, Ariz. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) named the Oberlin College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams to its list of Scholar All-American teams for the 2009 fall semester.

The Yeomen turned in the highest GPA in the country regardless of division at 3.60. The Yeowomen also had the 18th highest team GPA in Division III with a mark of 3.42.

“This award really shows how hard our teams work in the classroom in addition to the great effort they give in the pool each and everyday,” Head Mark Fino said.

The Yeoswimmers are eagerly waiting to display their talents in the water at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Meet February 11-13. Fans can read the meet preview here.
