Granville, Ohio – An experienced Denison University women's basketball team defeated the upstart Oberlin College Yeowomen 86-52 on Wednesday night in Granville, Ohio.

Syrea Thomas was the lone Yeowoman in double figures as she finished with 17 points to go along with a team-high nine rebounds.
Allison Anderson's streak of double-digit scoring performances came to an end at eight as she was limited to just nine points – all of which came in the first half.
Oberlin (5-19, 3-11) had an early 12-9 lead, but Denison quickly took control en route to claiming a 37-23 cushion at the break. In the second period, the Big Red (17-7, 9-6 NCAC) extended their advantage to 20 points and never looked back.
Denison had three players score in double figures with Haley Dahlgard leading way with 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting.
Oberlin will closeout the regular season on Saturday afternoon at Kenyon. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
