Westlake, Ohio – Two seniors, a junior and a first-year were honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference for their record-setting run in the 4x400 meter relay this past Saturday.

Seniors Clara Shaw and Madeline Schultz were followed by rookie Marissa Clardy and junior Amanda Miller to set a new school-and meet-record time of 4:06.22. For their efforts they were named as the NCAC Women's Sprints/Hurdles Runners of the Week.

The time bested Oberlin's performance from the 2008 NCAC Indoor Championships when the clique of Christa Wagner, Miller, Schultz and Anna Chernin won the event in 4:07.28.

The Oberlin track and field teams return to action on Friday night when they play host to the second Oberlin Invite of the season. The meet is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
