Westlake, Ohio – Three Oberlin College track and field members earned NCAC Runner of the Week honors, the league office announced on Sunday evening.

Madeline Schultz, junior
Joanna Johnson and sophomore
Ben Schild were recognized for their efforts at the Baldwin-Wallace Mid-January Invite on Saturday.
Johnson, a native of Chico, California, was named NCAC Women's Middle Distance/Distance Runner of the Week as she won the 3,000 meters with a new school-record time of 10:16.64.
Schultz was tabbed as the NCAC Women's Sprints/Hurdles Runner of the Week as she won the 400 meters (1:02.29) and was part of the first-place 4x400 relay (4:10.53) and second-place 4x200 relay (1:52.54) at the event.
Schild, a product of Prescott, Arizona, was named as NCAC Male Middle Distance/Distance Runner of the Week as he placed fourth in the 3,000 meters after completing the course in 8:52.22.
Oberlin will be back in action on Saturday at the NCAC Relay Meet on the campus of Denison University.
