Oberlin, Ohio – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has named Oberlin College as an All-Academic Squad, with Grace Eginton and Maddie Fierstein earning individual accolades for their work in the classroom and on the field during the 2008-09 academic year.

The Yeowomen were one of 62 Division III teams to receive the award for establishing a team GPA of at least 3.0 throughout the school year.

Eginton, who graduated this past spring with a degree in history, joins Fierstein as one of 457 players nationwide through all three divisions to have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5. Fierstein, a senior politics major from Pelham, New York, is serving as team captain for the Yeowomen.

Over the next few weeks, Obelin beings its non-traditional fall season in preparation for the spring.
