Oberlin, Ohio – The Oberlin college men's soccer team along with the entire athletics department is pleased to host the Oberlin High School boy's soccer match tomorrow afternoon at the state-of-the-art Fred Shults Field.
The Phoenix will battle Lutheran West High School starting at 4:30 p.m. as the match precedes the Yeomen's 7 p.m. tilt against Otterbein College.
“This is a great opportunity for the local community to come out and support both programs,” Oberlin College Head Coach
Blake New said. “For us it always feels good to help promote the game of soccer in Lorain County and I am sure the kids are equally as excited to play on a top notch collegiate field.”
The Yeomen, who are coming off a 1-1 tie in the NCAC opener at Hiram on Saturday, enter the game with a mark of 4-2-2 overall, but are a perfect 3-0-0 at home.
