Courtesy of the Oberlin College Alumni Association and Oberlin Athletics, the initial tailgate will coincide with the football season opener when the Yeomen visit  non-conference foe, Washington & Jefferson University at Cameron Stadium (located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA), Saturday, September 5, 2009. The reception will be held at The George Washington Hotel, Oval Room & Pioneer Grill (walking distance to the stadium) and will begin at 5:00 p.m.  A complimentary dinner will be provided.  The pre-game reception will include guest speakers President Marvin Krislov, Director of Athletics Joe Karlgaard, and Heisman Club President Carla Freyvogel '79.

Sponsored by the John W. Heisman Club, tailgates come back to the Oberlin campus Saturday, September 26 for the first home football game in the 2009 season.  This day also marks home events for cross country and men's tennis.  The tailgate will begin at 12:00 p.m.

The final fall tailgate will be Saturday, October 10 at 4:00 p.m.  This weekend is also the athletics department's homecoming.  Click here for a complete listing of homecoming activities.

All tailgates will take place outside of the Jesse Philips Physical Education Center.  The rain site will the Presidents' Walkway (located inside the Jesse Philips Physical Education Center).

Each one of these dates is action packed! Parents, community members, alums and fans are encouraged to attend, enjoy the food and support Oberlin College athletics.
