Oberlin, Ohio – The Hiram College Terriers spoiled “Senior Night” and the home finale for the Oberlin College volleyball team by upending the Yeowomen in straight sets 25-20, 25-15, 25-23 on Wednesday night.

The Terriers kept the Oberlin attack in check for the majority of the match, but junior Amanda Wysk still managed to record a team-best 11 kills on 33 attempts. Rookie Laura Jessee also made the most of her chances as she converted seven kills on 17 swings for an impressive .294 hitting percentage.

Playing in her last game on the floor of Philips Gym, senior Rita Kaplon dished out 30 assists to go along with six digs. Classmate Tammela Platt added to her school record digs mark with 20 more, lifting her career total to 1,983.
