October 13, 2007 -- Head Coach Ray Appenheimer's men's and women's cross country teams voyaged to Calvin College (Mich.) today to run in the Great lakes Pre-Regionals. Both teams ran well, with the Yeowomen placing fourth out of 12 teams and the Yeomen finishing 10th out of 13 squads.

First-year Joanna Johnson led the Yeowomen with a 16th-place finish of 22:27 on the six-kilometer course. Nicky Ouellet added a 20th-place effort of 22:56, while Marie Barnett clocked in at 23:12 for 62nd place.

The Yeomen were paced by Conor Doss, who placed 27th with a time of 25:58. Ryan King also ran the 8K course in 26:31 (42nd place), while Everett Schlawin placed 48th with a time of 26:50.
