Johnson Remains Perfect at NCAA Regionals

For second-straight season Joanna Johnson will be making a trip to the NCAA National Meet after remaining unbeaten on Saturday at the NCAA Regional Meet on the campus of Otterbein College.

The sophomore sensation completed the 6K terrain in 21:51.76, helping the Yewomen claim a sixth-place team finish with 224 points.

Joining Johnson with all-region honors is senior Nicky Ouellet as she finished 18th overall with a mark of 23:11.33. Ouellet will wait to hear if she receives an at-large bid to next Saturday's national meet.

Clara Shaw was third finisher for the Yeowomen, ending 66th overall with a time of 24:22.76. First-year Christine Moore ended four spots back in 70th place with a mark of 24:26.46.

Junior Cordelia Revells completed the top-five finishers for the Yeowomen in 75th place, clocking in at 24:32.84.

Senior Conor Doss led the Yeomen to an 11th-place team finish in the 34-team field, completing the 8K course in 26:05.68 to finish 43rd overall.

First-year Ben Schild checked in at 26:11.03 for a 50th place finish in the 240-runner field. Fellow freshman Stephen Williams ended 66th with a mark of 26:25/94.

In the final cross country meet of his impressive career, senior Ryan King clocked in at 26:31.64 - ending 75th overall.

Sophomore Albert Davila rounded out Oberlin's placers in 81st with a mark of 26:34.00.

The NCAA Championships take place next Saturday at Hanover College.
